Hello to everyone at Ferreira Fanatics,

It has now been eleven years since I went down to the Royal Glenora, to watch my sisters skate before I went to school in the morning. Wondering if I should give this sport a try, I asked my mother if I could get a pair of skates for my upcoming birthday. I started skating in the morning before school, and within a day I had my first lesson with Mr. Ullmark. It is amazing to me that a turn of events such as these can change a young boys life. I had found my passion. I suppose as a youngster you don’t realize it, you just love what you’re doing in the moment and just can’t wait for the next day on the ice. During these last eleven years I have had the privilege of traveling to Japan, Germany, France, Hungary, Slovak Republic, Finland, Croatia, and the United States. I have also been to almost every rink and city across my country.

I have had such a wonderful journey so far. I have been disappointed, I have been elated. One thing still stands strong, I love my Sport, I love being an Athlete, I love my family, I love my life.

I want to personally thank everyone at Ferreira Fanatics for all of your support. I want to thank Lynn Fischer, Cheryl Stanford, and Erica Leung for all of their hard work in creating my wonderful website, as well as all of the support that I get when times are good, and maybe “not so good”.

I am a truly lucky individual, thank you for all of your support, Thank you for believing in ME.
